Actually, it does seem to be dual monitor related. I checked tech support
on the UBI site. It said to that this is a problem with some dual monitor
cards and disable dual head. If right-click on the desktop, go to
Proporties -> Settings, click on the second monitr, and uncheck "Extend my
Windows desktop onto this monitor", the game runs fine. As I had said,
the 1.01 patch is installed.
Thanks for everyone's help.
Now onto the next puzzle! Like I said, it is going to be a *long* game.
