You know, Intel is an evil empire so perhaps you should consider a 3800+.

Unless you already have an AM2 Rig (and even then it's probably worth selling the MB/CPU if you're upgrading anyway), the best way to go is the 6300. Faster than many (most?) AMD Processors at stock and faster than almost all when OCed.

well in the TG cpu's chart e6600 wins often than fx 62, but e6300 is fast already.
