nocd and patch for Uru Complete Chronicles?

I'm looking for a nocd hack and a patch for Uru Complete Chronicles. I just
bought this game and I'm having problems with it crashing my computer.
Everytime I go to click the "X" that pops up in the lower right hand corner,
my system reboots. Sometimes it just reboots spontaneously. My system is
stable with other intensive programs that really tax the cpu and graphics
card. And my system easily exceeds the min requirements for the game

I've also noticed that my machine just freezes up sometimes when I am around
a bunch of water like waterfalls and stuff like that.
I tried using the patch for URU but it wouldn't install since I have the
Complete Chronicles version.
I know for sure that my computer is more than enough to handle this game so
I know it is not a hardware issue.

This is frustrating. If this weren't such an awesome game, I'd just give up
