Bad axe and Kentsfield CPU's

Does anyone know for sure if the Intel 975xbx will support quad core cpu's when they come out? Saw the brief preview from Toms and it stated that the 975xbx will support the new Quad Core cpu's. Just would like a confirmation or some more info.

I believe Intel demo'ed a Kentsfield based system recently (I believe it was at the last IDF conference) with the Bad Axe rev 304 board.....
