I was looking on newegg.com earlier and ran across this MSI x1900xtx card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Cust [...] 6814127205

Its $426.99 and has a $150 rebate. The end price is $276.99.

Are the stats worth the price? I'd like to think this is a decent x1900xtx card.

I think it is a good deal. To be the honest, I think the catch is the rebate itself, lol. Looks okay to me. Anybody else care to second that? It's not very often graphics gets an update with the DX deal though, and DX10 might have some surprises, but who knows... I don't think you would be jumping the gun though if you get it (I am not totally sure), seems pretty good.

Looks good, no catch to it really.

I'm not going to get another vid card till I build a new system in 2 or 3 years, so I want something decent for the price.

I'm going to order this one today. Thanks guys.

The only catch is it's an MSI and the rebate isn't guaranteed. But since you're ordering it, I'd be very interested to know how the rebate process unwinds. Keep us posted!

The catch? It's the best card you'll find for that price.

HOLY SHIT

Its an X1900XTX for the price of a 7900 GT, wich is lower then an X1900XT.

Only catch is that u have to wait for a while, for the mail-in rebate. Ive never done it before but i heard that its a little risky - some didnt get it and u have to trust the mail service to bring u back 150$.

looks like a deal to me.the only catch would be the rebate, some companies try to deny rebates for any reason. be sure you follow the rebate directions to the letter and make copy of everything before mailing it out. i just sent a 100 rebate in on a gps unit and they sent me a post card saying i didnt enclose upc (i did) but i had a copy of it and the form together.i sent in the copy which is ok and a note to stop playing games and send my money.i'll see if i get it or not. good luck with it

If you can trust the Rebate, then its a magnificent deal. I'd go for it.

I did a big search on the net and EVERYONE has the MSI version of the x1900xtx sold out. Since I need a card ASAP (I need to get to the data on my computer), I ended up ordering this:

ASUS EAX1900XT/2DHTV/512 Radeon X1900XT 512MB @ $346.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814121554

I hope its not a bad deal. I couldn't find anything too much cheaper ( I wasn't going to buy OEM this time around). If it wasn't a time issue, I would have ordered the MSI or at least hoped to find one.
