Hi everyone,

First time poster. I am going to buy in the next week a new computer and am deciding on the specs. It will be a Core 2 Duo E6700 with 2 gigs DDR2800 Ram, WD Raptor HD 150gig , Xfi Fatality soundcard.
I also already have a 24 inch widescreen monitor from Dell wich can go up to 1920*1200 resolution. I still haven't decided on the graphics card. I am leaning towards a 1950XTX or a 1900XTX but am wondering if I should go crossfire or not. Any advice would be helpful . Thanks :)

nV 7900GT / ATI X1900 and up :-D

If you're on a budget the nV 7600GT and X1800 are nice.

A single card offers much better price/performance than SLI or Crossfire so you are better off without it!

GL :-D

Pretty much.

I would go for the X1950 because of the resolution he can play at.

Hey, linny, I haven't seen you in the while, what's up?

Drop to the E6600, and save yourself about 180 bucks, maybe a little more. a X1950 like Prozac sounds fine. No need for Crossfire though, just a waste of cash. Good Luck. :D
