I just got a new BT Adpater and it will connect to the pc fine and vice
versa but the activesync wont work... could someone reccomend a web site
where there could be a solution or even better post a message to me

Hi,
From what i remember there are two steps you need to take...
1. Enable active sync software on windows to accept serial connections:
-in activesync click file > connection settings
-tick the top box, allow serial cable or infrared connection to this COM
port
-you then must select the relevent com port for your bt adapter (this is
the incoming port) you can find this information through your BT utility -
if XP in the control panel
2. You need to tell your PDA you want to sync using your BT
-Start > Bluetooth Manager
-New connection
-ActiveSync via Bluetooth
-now just follow the BT setup wizard
