This unit is not available in the USA unfortunatly. Any others out there own/use this phone/pda? I think it is a great idea. Maybe it could be made to fit the hand a little better and the weight could be less. I really liked the key board(no stylus) even if small keys. The phone and PDA all in one unit is great. Can't wait till they are available for the USA market.

If you´re looking for slim maybe you should check out the Ericsson R380 World instead (164g).

Yeah , The Ericsson 380s is good!
But if you wait a couple of months you could buy the new
Nokia 9210 Communicator!
It´s lighter , more advanced and it has...
COLOUR screen! :-D

IT has 230hours standby time.
12 bit colour display

Unfortunately it is only dual band so none for the U.S.

Talk to your freinds in person. Mobile phones are for scared lonely women.

Whats all this about square pegs and round holes?

Is that price with a service, because I saw the phone at over £700 offline. I haven't been on the lookout, so i'm not sure if it is a good price. But I am sure it is likely to be a lot cheaper than the 9210.

At 244g the nokia 9210 weighs much more than the Ericsson R380 (164g).

The 9210 has a much longer talk time (4-10hrs), the R380 has a maximum of 4hrs.

featurewise both are quite similar, both use the epoc operating system. of course the nokia has a 12 bit colour display with 4096 colours. the games should look a lot better on this.
