Is there a website or company that let me customize and build my own notebook.? This way, I can save some buck without those useless software and guaranteed.

<A HREF="http://www.pro-star.com" target="_new">http://www.pro-star.com</A> has notebooks that come with nothing but an os for software and not many extras other than what is built into the notebook. This will not help much because their pre packaged web specials are discounted more then the build it yourself models so all you will do by building it yourself is loose features but you will not save much money. Prostar has super fast p4 notebooks up to 2.2G(using dektop cpus).

<A HREF="http://www.toshiba.com" target="_new">http://www.toshiba.com</A> has some great deals on mid line notebooks. I understand circuit city sells cheaper then the Toshiba web site.
