I am thinking about buying an external hard drive, and I was wondering if I get this kind of hard drive whether I will be able to even play top end video games on it. I was also wondering if I am able to play these game on an external hard drive whether I will be able to play these games on any computer from my external hard drive with no problem?

I used to have COD2 on my external... everytime (online) a player used the quick chat and shouted something like "move in" I had a significant pause in gameplay. Enough to have me clear room on my C: and install it there.

Externals should be used for storage... not installations
