Overclocking 1st core on dual core?

I'm starting to get some pretty good results on my e6300 and the p5wdh deluxe mb. I noticed that the only processor that overclocks though is the 2nd one. The first processor has never changed mhz and always stays at 1.86ghz. When I look in the windows properties it tells me the same. The second processor over clocks but the first doesnt. What gives with that?
