New Build, Mobo Question?

Im building a Computer for someone, budget is about 500-700$.

I mainly just have to pick out the mobo for the build, thats my main question.

Its gonna be for a AMD system either a AMD 3000+ / AMD 3800+ / AMD X2 3800+, thats my second question which should I put in this system.


So far this is what Im thinking, it also fits all the processors selected above.

Not all support my 3 processor choices, so that also can be a part of the choices, depending on which processor you think I should choose.

Also if you would like to suggest a 50$-125$ video card it doesn't have to be high end or anything just something decent. He mainly wants to use it for dear hunting kinda games, so nothing that should be a problem.


Quick rundown

Which mobo? / Which processor? / Which video card?

This system will basically be a internet // office // low end games basic everyday things, and he wants it to be stable and last a long time.

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on what motherboard atleast I should use for a AMD X2 3800+ processor?

it does support the x2...just read the reviews...it also supports sata II hdds...

def go with the x2 3800+ wont regret the dual core

I can deal with Sata 1 but im not likeing the chipset fan, on that mobo u picked out.

I want this comp as quite as possible, and if i only have not have sata 2 ill live. Other then sata 1 and 2 they look identical except mine doesn't have chipset fan.

Still trying to decide.
