LG Optical Sata drive flashing green LED wont open

Hello,
I have an LG Super Multi Optical Drive SATA that was working fine. Suddenly after a few reboots back the read/write green LED is flashing, eject commands wont open door - manually able to open it and device is not being listed in device manager or explorer Win 7 64 bit. Any thoughts?

Reseat its cables. If that doesn't help, try a different SATA port on your mobo.

Thanks that was it - I dont get how that can happen that it ould be come partially unseated inside the case or if it was a little dust build up however pulling it cleaning it and reseating it worked. Many thanks.
