Hello,
i currently use windows 7 32-bit, i did with an upgrade from windows vista 32-bit. Is it possible to install windows 7 64-bit with an windows 7 64-bit upgrade disc.
If i can't, is it possible to use system recovery to bring my machine back to windows vista 32-bit and then use the windows 7 64-bit upgrade disc?

Thank you for the help

There is no upgrade path from any 32-bit OS to a 64-bit OS. You'll have to do a fresh install whether you're coming from Windows 7 or Vista.

^+1 to sminlal...
I would think that a upgradeable process would have been an easy solution but not as profitable for MS.

yes with no issues just pick custom then do a clean install,no upgrades will work from 32 bit to 64 bit!

just make sure you have a valid key!
