Wrong bios version after upgrade

My DQ6 after upgrade shows correct bios version in bios, but wrong in windows xp (cpuz, sandra). I bought DQ6 with F2 version and upgraded first to F3 and then to F4 but cpuz still shows F2 on the motherboard tab.

What's wrong??

Mine does the same thing for my Gigabyte 939 board. From factory it came with F3. I've since upgraded to F10. It still states F3 in CPUZ and Sandra. I've had no ill effects from it. I just chalk it up to a coding error in these applications.

Same here.
Actually, the POST screen says F4, but cpu-z and every other utility I've tried says F2.

I believe they simply failed to update the header in the bios that identifies it - the difference between F4 and F4 is so pronounced that they obviously updated it, even if it reports the wrong version.

Same here but if you look in CPU-Z the BIOS date is updated to 9-5-06 in regard to F4, it just says F2 still for the version.

dont worry about it, its a Gigabyte thing. The bios is updated, CPUZ etc just isnt picking up the newer version, no sweat.
