I've seen HP's curious new printer, the 8250, at several US
stores now. I've printed the demo page (from the kiosk)
as well as the built-in "print sample page" (from the LCD
screen's tool menu.)
On plain-paper, the 8250's print quality doesn't seem any
better than HP's current Photosmart 8450 (8-ink), though
I guess it's not fair to compare 6-ink vs 8-ink systems.
I like the premise behind individual ink tanks, but I
guess I'll have to wait to next year's model for HP to
once again move forward with print quality.
