Hi All,

Does anyone know if a standard PC Quadro FX 4500 card will work in the new Mac Pro system, that Apple offers with an optional upgrade to Fx 4500? By the looks of the photos the only difference appears to be that the Apple version has a slightly longer PCB with a guide rail on the end of it. I've got a FX4500 card available from an existing workstation which I would prefer to reuse if at all possible to save some costs. I guess possibly they have a different power connector on the Mac version too.... but if anyone knows for sure i'd appreciate it!

Ps. On apple.com they say the only way is to buy from Apple.com but you know it's worth a try isn't it??
