Does anyone know if there is a patch that allows Myst IV to run without the
DVD in the drive?

As far as I know, no such patch exists.

There is a patch that Ubisoft's own tech support gave me to solve a
problem with the game not launching at all after installation. You will
need to do a full install of Myst IV and install the v1.02 patch first
though. Here is the link:
