Yo,

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Asrock.html

Got me this motherboard hooked up to a Core 2 6300, and have managed to get the FSB up to 320 from 266 (using GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit) but anything over that stops my SATA drives responding on POST.

Is this the end of the line for overclocking, or are there any tricks I can use to push it further?

The CPU has yet to hit 40c, so I'm sure it can go further. That'll learn me to scrimp on the £££ motherboard!

Cheers,

A

From the tests of 945 chipset based mobos, it seems that 320 is the limit. Even that is success, considering 945 officialy does not support Core2.
