I paid $700 for a 24in monitor. Now THG redesigns the forums in an "excitingly chunky" new way so that it bunches the text into 1/3 of the screen.

What was so bad about THG before that someone feels the need to keep diddling with it? What, did they need more advertising space?

WTF don they use proper formatting so if ya got 1920x1200 res, then it resizes to fit window? Other sites have no prob with this...

yes, it is terrible, i have just hijacked rich's thread over in the structure section(sorry rich).

i cannot believe these guys will not leave things alone. i know these are THG's forums but somehow i don't think they have a right to mess with them, they ain't "theirs" if you know what i mean.

i loved how the posts took up the whole width of my screen. i'm going to hunt this steve guy down i tell ya!!!!!

I don't mind the look, but the text is bunched up too much. The side option bar is too wide.

Ya, thats really my only bitch. Ive got 1/3 screen of text and 2/3 "powder blue" (or whatever other feministic color they call it) blank screen on the side bars.

well, i've found one solution, just rotate my screen to portrait and view it length ways, fits much better having 12 x 19 as my res.

of course to keep it like this would be silly but hey, why should i have to go to such lengths to view the forums properly :roll:
