So, I tried to get +200Mhz out of my workstation, but all got was BSOD right after getting into windoze :(

Specs:
Asus A8N-E
a64 x2 4200
4x512 ddr400 3-3-3-8
gf6600
250gb sata

For OCing I set:
"fsb" 240
cpu multip. 10x resulting 2400
ram divider 5/6 resulting 400
htt multip. 4x resulting 960
PCI and PCI-E locked
all @stock volts

Any suggestions?

Can´t do. I need all the ram cause I´m doing some heavy rendering with this rig. That´s why I tried to oc in the first place. I was hoping to save 10-15% of rendering time.

hmm, i had that same problem before. i found out that 4 sticks of ram dont like to be divided say to 333 to reach 400

what i did though was set the fsb to 230 and the divider to 366 and i got an overclock of 2.3ghz or u can just leave the dividers at 1:1 and overclock your ram to 240, but it might crash or cause a blue screen

Set it to 252fsb with a 9.5x Mult with 4xHTT speed with the ram set manually to 333mhz will give u 2.40ghz with 400mhz ram! Its the exact setting mine is on right now!

Overall Setting is: 2.4ghz with 1008mhz HTT (2016mhz effective)
stock speed for your ram at 200mhz (400mhz effective)

Mine is perfectly stable and I lower'd the voltage to 1.325v for the CPU and my ram is rated at 2.7v and I run them at the lowest setting it allows of 2.6v and the system is 12 hours prime stable!
