1. No spamming or flaming.

2. Do not use this area to post Classifieds. Use the Classifieds Forum for that purpose.

3. Topic subject must include item summary and price. Subject line must be descriptive of the item, and not require clicking to view the offer ( i.e. avoid "best deal today" as the subject).

4. No firearms, gambling, tobacco, controlled substance, pornographic material or otherwise banned or inappropriate material allowed.

4. Absolutely no referral/affiliate links allowed. Links must be direct to vendor.

5. eBay auction links are not allowed. You are allowed to post items from eBay shops with a buy-now fixed price option.

6. We reserve the right to revise these rules without notice, and remove any posts that do not comply.

When you say "direct link", you are saying no links to rebates, coupons, or other features that might get you a better deal coming from a particular vendor? (Example, coupons for "Buy.com" AND a link to something on sale...)

Are you looking for something akin to the HD forum on FW? (I will not use full names here, but you should know what I am talking about).

What is your overall goal with this forum and how could posters as well as vendors get the most out of it?

Question. I have a great link to a website I frequent, has no ties to any company, completely independant, but isn't a direct vendor link:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/main.html

Yes, I know it's UK only, but it's got some great deals, freebies etc.

Can I post this, or have I got to select out the best deals and post them individually?

Wow, so this forum on Hot Deals was created almost a month ago and there is a grand total of one posting, from a vendor itself. Is it not being promoted, or is there too much competition from the likes of Techbargains.com, Slickdeals.net and Fatwallet.com?

Yeah, this section is monitored and kept bang up to date, isn't it?!
