Hi,

Recently I was forced to do a hard reset and lost everything.

When I reconnected it to my PC I restored from back up, which worked
fine.

Now though, when I put the PPC in the cradle Activesync finds it, but
then says that there is already a partner ship with a PPC called
'CraigsPocketPC' and that my PPC will be synced as guest. How can I
make Active Sync realise that this PPC is the correct PPC and that it
should sync with the profile 'CraigsPocketPC'?

TIA
Craig

The only way to clean that is to do File | Delete Partnership and then do
the initial partnership creation and first sync again.

Don't forget that if you do a delete partnership, it will only work if your
device is NOT cradled at the time.

Thanks for the responses. Does deleting the existing partnerships
break third party apps that I have installed (such as Pocket Quicken
etc)?

TIA
Craig
