DVI Splitter Cables

Does anyone have experience using a DVI splitter cable, like one of these?

I'd like to run two LCD monitors off my Dell 9150's DVI output, without using a DVI amplifier splitter.

Id say if the card wasn't designed to support 2 monitors then i wouldn't push it. Besides for a few dollars more you could just buy a new video card that would have 2 monitor ports alowing you to run 2 monitors. Besides it would probably out perform the card you have now.

I had an fx5500 PCI with dual monitors, $100, and this 9600 I have now was only $80, it's AGP.

If you aren't going to be gaming these will work fine.

But then again we don't know if he wants to game or not.
