I thought I read somewhere that Myst, the original, had some hidden Easter
eggs, including another secret underground world that was seldom seem.
Anything to this?

I have never heard of a "hidden age" in the original Myst. Real Myst,
however, does have an additional small age called Rime IIRC.

No, sorry. There is indeed a small set of underground rooms, but
unfortunately totally inaccessable to you or anyone else. They require a
special key which fits around the blue button in the lift - but this key is
not available in the game.
For more information on the underground rooms and their contents, click

....and read my prequil.
The ending takes place in D'ni, not on Myst. You'll find out what I'm
talking about when you get there...
Best of luck with the game,
Yours,

Cthulhu.
