GVRP message format

Can anybody tell
that while formatting a GVRP frame
Would there be only 0ne and only one message in the GVRP PDU
I assume this since there is only one attribute_type allowed for GVRP.

Can somebody give an example how does an attribute list look like for a
participant which is part of active topology?

Your help would be highly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance.

Actually It would be of great help if somebody could post an example
PDU transmitted by a GVRP participant.
Thanks,
Jassy

Dhillon,
Thanks alot for your reply.
Now seeing at this capture that you sent i am puzzled even more as to
which is the correct way of formatting a gvrp packet?

While searching the web for GVRP format
I got the undersatnding that
a GVRP PDU may look like

PROTOCOL_ID
MESSAGE
{
ATTRBUTE 1,
...................,
ATTRIBUTE n,
END_MARKER
}
END_MARKER

where in ATTRIBUTE 1 - n I can fill in the attribute values with their
respective events

but as per the capture that you sent

I can see that each attribute value is coded in a different message
which then collectively form part of the PDU.

Though standard states that there can be n messages in the pdu and each
message can have n attributes

I am very puzzled

All the GVRP experts over there - please help!!

I would highly appreciate your help
thanks,
jassy
