Problems with radom shutdown is due to a Capacitator problem.

I must be lucky I have this board and not a sing random shut down knock on wood and i am running a 64x2 4600

the only issue i had was wit hthe windows install and hte dual channel ram...

I've got a K9N Diamond, and after installing DigiCell, began getting shutdowns--not random, but it seemed to be after 20 minutes of no keyboard/mouse activity--coincidentally the time I had Windows set to turn my monitor off for that reason. Tried setting Windows to NEVER turn off the monitor, but system still shut down after about 20 minutes. Uninstalled DigiCell, and the problem went away--NO unforeseen shutdowns.
