Looking for wireless keyboard w/ 4-5m range

I'm looking for a wireless keyboard for less than $100 CAD, to use with my htpc. It's at the back wall of my theatre room, about 4-5 metres behind the first couch. There's a second couch on a platform behind that.
I was thinking of the Logitech LX 700, but it's hard to find wireless range info on any keyboard.

From what I know, look for IR wireless keyboards instead of RF. It's hard to find a RF that has more than 1-2m range. Keep in mind, IR needs to have line of sight with the reciever just like a standard remote control though. Here's one I was eyeing that you might consider:

Adesso Wireless Mini keyboard with Cursor Pad (Black)

It has a range of 7 meters and has a built in 'thumb mouse' so you don't need to get a separate wireless mouse. The receiver can be placed outside a cabinet however so you don't necessarily need line of sight to your HTPC case. Perhaps you could run a USB extender to move the receiver to the front.
