Looks good, but make sure the outputs of that PSU match what your mobo needs. Some of the Aspire PSUs (like mine) have a -5V rail.

Also, I'm assuming you're planning to add another 1GB RAM stick soon to operate 2GB in dual-channel. Otherwise, the previous poster is right; 2x512MB sticks will run faster in dual channel.

I guess it if were me, I'd look for an AM2 based system so as to be more "future proofed". The combinations are endless but I am sure you can find an AM2 processor/Mobo/ram combo that is similar in price and performance.

Just a thought.

Yeah, go AM2. For roughly the same price you will have the option of upgrading the processor in the future.

I had to get a PSU that provides a -5V rail because my mobo requires it. Most don't need it, and most PSUs no longer provide -5V. This rather limited my PSU choices, so I'll be sure my next mobo won't need it, for that reason.
You probably won't have a problem, but it might have been useful to be certain that your mobo either doesn't require -5V, or that the PSU you're getting provides it.
