i was wondering if i could go with 4 of these suckers and run it in crossfire

That would absolutely the dumbest thing you could EVER do. With DX10 coming, buying 4 video cards right now(and finding a motherboard to support them) will cost you a bunch of money. These cards won't even support Vista fully. Quad SLI (Quad X-fire does not even exist) is a marketing trap, there is no real gain except in ultra high end applications.

Save your money, or you have way to much. Donate some to charity.

I agree with shadowduck. It would be very stupid of you to do that. One x1950xtx would be more than enough.

X1950 is good choice.It has good cooling system too
