Hey guys, if there's a password set in the beginning of the computer by MS-DOS, not the regular account passwords but one to let you even get to the account selection page, how could you go about bypassing that pass?

Itd be really helpful if someone could help me out

Its a laptop, its a password set using MS-DOS, I dont know if its the same as a BIOS password

It just shows a black screen with a blue box saying Enter Password, after a few incorrect tries the computer gets shut off

I really doubt that the laptop has MS-DOS installed. MS-DOS has been emulated since Windows 95. It is probably a BIOS password that can be reset by removing the CMOS battery. I'm not sure if this works on laptops.
