OH dear...and I thought it couldn't get any worse for AMD/ATI. What do you think would happen with an Intel/NVidia union? Will we only be buying Intel and NVidia in the future? Imagine writing software and games for Intel and NVidia only. Prices will probably skyrocket, but we'll see hardware support similar to gaming consoles IMO which will result in a much more reliable platform. However, I am in no way a proponent of a single CPU/GPU world. I like variety, competition, and choice.

I've seen a bar so busy that the pumps were left running with someone just switching glasses as they filled. Even then they were having difficulty keeping up. Here is the crowd doing the drinking.
