I've posted screenshots of a problem I've experienced with Uru:
Complete Chronicles. I just bought this new off the shelf at Target
this week, have since updated DirectX all the way (9.0c) and all of my
video and display drivers (running 3D via Intel 82845G/GL series
chipset (I think it's marketed as something like Intel Extreme or some
such). At any rate, that chipset is listed as supported in the Uru
documentation. I've tried monkeying with the video settings from within
the game, but all settings produce the same results. the screen images
follow. Any help is appreciated.

clouds" on the horizon.

screen that comes up when you press F4... the text is unreadable.

supposed to be the sun in the upper left part of the screen is
something else entirely.

some unexpected new duds.

If I had to guess it's probably you graphics chipset. Intel graphic
chipsets are quite poor (not to mention slow) and I wouldn't be surprised if
it was causing the problem. I'd look into upgrading that. Even the
cheapest thing that nVidia offers would be at least twice as good as what
you've got. Not knowing more about you computer I couldn't make any other
recommendations.
