I have a crappy MSI motherboard which seems to be totally dropped by them as there is no support for my model number on their website (ms-7046).
I am interested in buying a replacement motherboard with good support from a recognised manufacturer.
I have a pentium 4 560
1GB DDR
PCI-X VGA
and i think my HDD is SATA but not totally sure
What other information would you guys need to know what i need?
I am assuming a motherboard for these things could be got quite cheaply whilst still being good.
Thanks

If your 560 is socket 775, checkout the asrock dual vsta (about $60 at newegg). It has support for agp and pci-e, and ddr or ddr2. It's duo core 2 ready, if you decide to upgrade. It's not for overclocking, though modest results are possible.
