X-fi front panel

ok so my X-fi front panel line in 2/mic in 2 port dosent work when i have the console on game mode or entertainment modes. i know it works though because as soon as i go to audio creation mode it works fine. i would like to use to front panel for games and the like so any help would be appreciated. and yes i do have line2/mic2 on the record device and in the normal sliders.

What is the Line in 2/Mic in 2 port used for mate? Is it for recording sound etc on to your PC? If so it kind of makes sense that it only works when you are in Audio creation mode, unless your planning on singing karaoke while playing CSS

no it supposed to be able to be used for anything including games and stuff. Dont know why its not. i asked on the creative forums but alot of help that did. i think im just gonna call up creative soon.

go to the creative mixer panel and the part where it says autodetection of headphones, cloick it. It's not in the windows mixer settings it's in the creative mixer settings.
