I have a new build that im toying around with. Working toward overclocking , but I have a issue with finding a reliable temperature reading. Ive looked over Wusy's guide , and downloaded speedfan and core temp. The mobo has pc probe 2 , all of these programs are showing different temps. Speedfan registers the highest with core temp in the middle and pc probe 2 last . The diff total is around 10c wich is considerable when considering overclocking. My specs are below , and any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply Wusy , and after rereading the instructions I see how you said to check for temps with coretemp and use speedfan for voltage regulation. Wich brings me to a whole different question =)

Speed fan is showing core 1 voltage as 2.66, and core 2 voltage as 3.66 assuming its the first? I set it to the one just below 1.375 , and im assuming its showing both cores voltages on the first core reading? Should I just pay attention for fluctuations?

I may have the wrong version of speedfan its not showing a vcore voltage they all seem extremely stable though. Running at 380x8 atm with dual prime 95s in the background grinding away. Core temp showing 54 on peaks low 50s average. The artic freezer 7 still feels cool to the touch , and I should prolly add that I lapped it. Think I should continue pushing it ? It seems the video card I have heats up the entire case , and as a result I have pulled the side off and stuck a 12" or so fan beside the case. Thanks again for all the help wusy.
