You need to be more specific. Are you talking about theX1650PRO or the X1650XT? If you're talking about the X1650PRO VS. the 7600GT, then I'd go with the 7600GT. EliteBastards notes the X1650PRO as on the level of the 7600GS.

I don't think the X1650XT has been released yet. Info puts the release between September and October. A vote cannot be made yet on it.

There was no point really. Originally, the RV535 80nm die shrink was supposed to be used in the X1650Pro and X1300XT, but it turns out that the old 90nm RV530 is used in those cards as well. It's just that everyone was expecting a 6 month mid-point refresh and the RV560 for the mid-range is delayed and with the integrated Crossfire engine, it isn't cheap to produce, so they just changed the numbers to make everyone feel better and confuse them.

The X1650Pro is replacing the X1600Pro and the X1650XT is replacing the X1600XT. It's really that simple this time.

It doesn't change the fact that they're still RV cores.
