instead of buying a PSU just run the Video card from your 5" BAY SAVE YOUR BEER MONEY FOR A COUPLE WEEKS. Save your dope money and dont buy and sachels for a week or two. Iknow. Its hard to go without. but in the end you will have enough money. from "mowing lawns and what not" to buy a nice PSU in the $150 range and it will be enough for anything you want to power and upgrades to boot. Thats what I did. Or did wothout..hehe and now I have a nice Seasonic S12 600W PSU!!!! And I didnt miss a thing.

Yeah, but a 600W won't work when DX 10 cards come out, and I want something that will work on DX10 cards, too.

Phreejak, those both look good, thanks for the links.

So do you guys think its better to buy one of these 2 PSUs (to say, run 1 x1900xtx) w/ a 500 watt psu instead of buying something like an 850 or 1000 watt ENERMAX PSU? I was going to buy the 1000 watt enermax, but this might be a better idea.

Also, If I were to buy one for the video card, I can technically subtrack 150 - 200 watts from the overall power of the PSU i'd need to run my system, right?

I own a supermicro H8DCE-O. Supermicro states that the MOBO needs at least 645 watts to opperate. I'm also using 2 liquid cooling systems (1 per CPU). Should I just get a 1000 watt psu to power that plus the video card or could i squeeze by with a 700 watt + video card PSU?
