RD600 may require a new type of board, but please tell me I didn't get core 2 duo and am gonna hafta get another board :-(

relax G80 and RD600 will work on your system provided you have a good PSU.
Directx 10 cards are going to need a lot of power.
Dont fret even if your current PSU will be insufficient .
buy an external PSU when the cards come out.

RD600 and G80 will work on any PCI express slot.

chill man, the interface as has already been said is the same. pci-e.

also, you won't need a pci-e 16 slot or IMO a better psu as long as yours is 500W+.

i may be wrong but i think this whole power debate is a flash in the pan and any decent power supply will do. i ain't too sure if the same can be said for dual GPU setups's though.
