I'm from sri lanka ..Guys I have $4000.Going to build new gaming rig.I need some help about this.....

1. How can i use Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5 2GB (2x XMS2 1GB) Ram on DS4 mobo????

I'm planing 2 add Quad core and DX 10 hi end card when they are out.

2. Is this MOBO support upcoming quad core???What type of PSU is better for quad core & DX 10 hi-end card(OCZ 700W/SilverStone ST85ZF 850W )

My dream system specs are above,,,

Quad-core (going to use gigabyte water cooler)
GIGABYTE 965P-DS4 mobo
2GB DDR 8500RAM
120x 2 WD 7200 HDD ON RAID 0
320GB HDD AS A BACKUP
DX 10 card
AUDIGY X-FI CARD

Supported memory

I'm sure other sticks will work as well.

Socket 775 is supposed to support quad core. A DX10 card won't get you any performance boost until apps come out that support it. If you want to spend the cash that is fine, but would be a waste of money.

Just my 2 cents.

nVidia's DX10 cards won't be out until Q1 2007 either. There is no point to release DX10 cards before Vista is released to the public.

Sapphire in ATI and eVGA in nVidia.

XFX is not bad either.

Asus is an acceptable choice, as they cost more and are never clocked as fast. But they come with a crapload of software.
