Has anyone got this combination to work? I have a LinkSys WRT54g that my
PPC was happily connecting to before I changed the authentication from
WEP/64-bit to WPA-PSK/TKIP. All the other devices in the office connect
just fine, it is only the SX66 that wont. It tries to connect, and does see
the WAP, but just never totally connects. After a 5 minute timeout the WiFI
card turns itself off.
I have deleted the wireless card profile associated with the SSID and
recreated it with the correct passphrase. I have also noticed that the
"Network card" setting for the wireless card seem to ALWAYS enable the
802.1x stuff (albeit greyed out) when ever WPA-PSK is chosen. It seems to
indicate that a certificate is wanted, but I know that my LinkSys doesn't
require one. None of the other devices have one.
