Motherboard ! ! !

I have P4 2.8 HT and when i used cpuid the chip set said it was a
I915G/I915P. I have dell 4700 and i want to change the Motherboard.
I looked up to see what chip set is on the dell motherboard was 915G express and i wanted to know if i can use a 915P motherboard even it
said on cpuid i915/i915p?

Yes you can use the 915P express chipset but will need a video card as the only difference btween the P and G chipset is onboard graphics. Check this link to Intel for a comparison of the 2 chipsets.
