I have currently got a DFI NF4 Ultra D mobo, OCZ Gold 3200 2gig kit, AMD 3700+ san diego water cooled, running at 2.8 gig very stable 38c.

I need more performance at multi tasking as I do alot of 3d work and cant afford to replace everythink to go intel duo core 2 so am looking at getting a X2 cpu.

Now I want to have my single core performace of 2.8gig in a x2 chip which one will give me this while remaining stable and faily cool?

when looking at the duo core 2 I was seeing the 6600 performing as good as a fx62 which is by far more faster than mine but like I said way to expensive as if id have to change everythink.

So the x2 3800+ this can achive 2.8gig what about the 4400+ or the 4800+ x2s?

Thats very impresive indeed what kind of temps are you getting and how many case fans you using?

I asume the 4400+ upwards dont have enougth head room to achive relitive clocking?
