Thats past my imagination Sy, I had enough of a reality check when the wife and I first moved out in the country and had to go back to dialup, and ran the lights and water off a generator for close to 3 weeks.

Lights, water, and water heater and having the ability to take a shower, is really a luxury to some, but when you're used to turning on that light switch without even a doubting thought it will work, and it doesn't, that takes some getting used to.

Going back to dialup after years and years of high speed cable, is really like going back to the dark ages, I didn't even want to turn the computer on except to play a game on the machine itself.

We all could survive if we were born in 1700, cause we'd have never known the difference, but if you got sent back in time to the 1700s, and couldn't get back. Oh Crap!!!

Hehe, yes totally true.....so howcome classical music and barok is still the number one music for intelligent people? Have you ever wondered why this is? In fact let's turn things around....what do you think when Bach would be teleported to this time and listen to what kind of crap is being send out by the money making (mp3 hahahaha good for those suckers) media nowadays.....don't you think he would commit suicide right away as many young children don't understand a thing about music anymore (I mean come on...you call eminem/mariah yell/britney 666 on her bald head etc music??? Isn't this maybe because their (bach like people's) fantasy is just bigger than people that are very shortminded trying to get people angry and stuff like that (no I'm not trying to make you angry baby's) ? I mean...try it yourself....making music can be really fun. I've been doing it for like 15 years now. Let's face it....money/media raped music by creating sheeps. Sy, We all have a choice in the music we decide to listen to and we listen to it because we like it, for all you know Bach may have been a Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin fan even celebrated artists had their own favorite music.

Personally I like a broad spectrum of music from the new country to rock and roll, from soul to classical, from hard rock to acid rock, from R&B to pop, but I also have music I don't care for like gangster rap.

Thats what happens when you become a DJ and have to listen to every type of music there is, music is part of the soul and its either soothing or sandpaper, the music industry is after the dollar, but its still your choice what you listen to.

So whats the raving about? If the people buy the music, the music industry makes more of what they're buying, so the people are controlling the music they're receiving from the music industry by buying what they're producing.

If the people wouldn't buy crap, the music industry wouldn't produce crap, because it wouldn't sell and they'd be stuck with it, they produce what sells its simple as that.

At one point as a DJ I was buying everything, to cover a vast audience but I heard music with lyrics I just flat refused to play to the point I'd give up being a DJ before I'd play that type of music, but I made that choice and I don't regret it either.
