Wow, I had no idea they were that close. If so, then hats off to Intel for powering another fine specimen out so quickly! I hope they can keep pumping out more and more improved Core 2 Uarch. in the near future, too.

Mex - Looks like a differnt core. Maybe a new low watt chip. The volts on it are 1.20v - 1.25v. The Windsor core runs at 1.30v - 1.35v

While I understand that AMD puts out EE versions of cores, that specific 4200+ would still be a Windsor. Brisbane cores are AMD's 65nm chips.

Whatever - It was probably a typo.

Actually, the word is that AMD's EE chips are crap for overclocking. Besides, in order to OC them, you have to raise the VCore to the level of normal processors, which means that you paid the premium for nothing.

If you can go from 2.2ghz at 1.25v to 2.4ghz - 2.6ghz at 1.35v that seems to be a nice clock to me! But that if just me!
