Hey guys,

I have a LG Flatron L1930B, which comes with a default DVI connection, is there any external TV tuner/ switch box that could allow me to use my game console on my monitor and as well as switch back and forth between tv mode and computer monitor?

I've been looking for that, but haven't found any. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

http://www.x2vga.com/

Its the best at what it does.
Maybe but this one has only a VGA output, not DVI.

There are a few options like that availible.
Here is a good one.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815100117
And this one is for connecting a PC output to a TV...

I really believe that converters from s-video or compose-it to DVI digital interface are more expensive, example: http://www2.dvigear.com/vitodvisc.html

From the manufacturer site: "These products provide two essential functions. First, they convert the input signal from one format to another (e.g. analog VGA to digital DVI). Secondly, they allow the end user to select from a wide variety of output resolutions thanks to a built-in scaling engine."

Hope this helps.

Okay, actually on my monitor, it has both DVI and regular VGA port. So can I plug vga into a switch box and dvi into my video card and switch back and forth? Sorry, I am very noob. lol

Yes I know it's been a week since you asked I'm just slow is all, anyway I too have VGA/DVI ports on my monitor and tried to do the switch between the two and found that once I had switched over to DVI input I could not switch back to VGA, the only was to shut down the DVI output source. My monitor is a Yusmart by the way and the switch over is done by onscreen menu.
