Select XP as OS ...

I've installed the TWAIN driver , WIA driver and after reboot installed the Toolbox , and after that the scanner is working fine now in Windows 7 32 bit.

Edit : It's not working as it should , because you can't "aquire" a scan trough any program, but you can scan with the "Canoscan toolbox" first (tip : put a shortcut to the toolbox on your desktop ) .
After the scan you can open the image in your image editor.

I have this issue with windows XP and even with the TWAIN AND WIA drivers installed the toolbox doesn't recognize i even have a scanner hooked up. yes i've tried every trouble shooting possible on the internet nothing works.
