Catalyst 6.9 drivers and crossfire on 965P

Todays release of the Catalyst 6.9 drivers contains crossfire support for the 965P chipset.

I would like to know if anyone running a Gigabyte Ga-965P-D6 has tried crossfire. I'm reluctant to spend another $500 on a video card if t won't work.

I'm curious to know as well so if anyone has tried crossfire on this board, or a similar one, please let us know. I though I was going to be missing out on multi-GPU options by buying a 965 chipset, but it is nice to know that this may be a possibility.

I found this article from Anandtech. It shows some test with 965 based ASUS systems but the specs are similar enough to show that it should work with the DQ6. It looks like BIOS updates will be available soon to add/improve CrossFire support.
