Does anybody know which smartphone runs MS Streets and
Trips? Do you have any experience in using it on trips or
locating addresses? Does it actually work somehow?

Why pay money when maps.yahoo.com, and others provide the same
information free.

The Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC Phones will (the XDA, HP 6315,
etc.) and perhaps the MS Smartphones.

Not really- handhelds run a very stripped down version called "Pocket
Streets" which is essentially just a map viewer- you can lookup
addresses, but the software doesn't create routes like the
desktop/laptop version. I use GPS navigation software on my PPC for
routing. If you have a data plan, Mapquest has a wireless page at
http://wireless.mapquest.com/Palm/v3.0/index.html

Tom - I use a Motorola MPX200 with Windows Mobile software Ver 2002.
When loading the software on my computer it took me to a site that had
MS Pocket Streets 2005. I've added the link below, hope this helps,
tjwheels.
