I hope AMD isn't in on this....it just makes them look really bad and desperate to the consumer.

Seems to have hit Tom's also:

AMD Virtual Experience

I love AMD's new tradeshow website!

AMD continues to be innovative, but in a different way!

AMD Trade Show

All four were started on September 11 - 19, by webmonkey3333, who has a post count of 4.

And This One too, started by the same Programmer3642...

I've accused a few members on here of being Shills. There are AMD shills.. you can tell because they will illogically back AMD up no matter how much knowledge you put forth. They're a disease and worse then Fanboi's. They also tend to post only the upside of one company rather then looking at the big picture.

hey nice computer, a pentium 1 wtf?

Reply to derek101700

What makes you think that intel shills are any smarter than amd shills?

Reply to evilr00t

Bah, who cares, it's advertising all the same to me.
I only listen to my own excellent advice anyway =)

This is simply amazing, who would stoop so low :) ... Jake, Fredi and crew should ban the IP immediately, or at least demand payment for services rendered.

This kina wreaks of underhandedness does it not?

jack

I do agree about banning the IP.

I do wonder, however, if this trolling is actually sponsored by AMD. It looks more like the developers of the "Virtual Trade Show" might just be trying to pat themselves on the back - or maybe AMD is paying them per site hit.

Did you notice BM replied to the guy in that link that Sid provided?

All kinda drooly and googley eyed :).

BM gets a triple D for that one. (see Carlos Mencia)

I dont think it was AMD who instructed them to advertise this way and nor did HP, Sun, Visa, Motorola and many others for that matter.

The company specializes in advertising......what do you expect.

I think they are rather smart.......

Rather than targeting the general public (who may or may not care about PCs), by posting news in forums.......they are bound to get PC interested audiences........

Guess its a loop hole in the system and they've exploit it to the max.........

But he made the forums so entertaining, especially on the rare occasion he would actually return to semi defend his BS position.
Needless to say he'll be missed [/joke]

Yes,... like all those intel payed sites for Core2 benchmarks. If there's one thing AMD has always done well that is RESOURCES' MANAGEMENT; they'd never be so deeply stupid to do these things.

hahaha! Amd mongrels and their f'n rabies.

Reply to AmdMELTDOWN

Normally I'd say the same, but with a creation like 4X4, I'm inclined to believe this would be a direct request from AMD.
